In most instances, your sponsor organization is the organization who referred you to the platform or one of our global or regional leaders. * = required field Security of the network and information is our highest priority. All applicants to Innovation For Change will be subject to our verification process and must agree to the Community Code of Conduct before proceeding into the network. All applicants must have a sponsor organization in the network. If you are unsure if you have a partner organization, please click here to contact our support team for more information. We also value those members who need to remain anonymous for security reasons. If you need to remain anonymous, you will be subject to a specialized verification process. Please make sure your partner organization is aware of your request for anonymity in the network and the username you selected at registration.Request Anonymous User Status All members of the Innovation for Change community must abide by and promote the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and subscribe to our mission and values. The mission of these hubs is to use a collaborative approach to allow civil society to create and maintain the space it needs to be an effective steward of needs related to shrinking civic space. Everyone has the right to freedom of expression and to express their diverse opinions, thoughts and beliefs. Innovation for Change will not tolerate behavior that harasses, intimidates or bullies other users for any reason. To ensure that our community remains a safe and open space, all users must agree to abide by these community rules: Users will not make threats of violence or promote violence, either directly or indirectly against other users. Users will not incite or engage in the targeted abuse or harassment of others. Users will not promote violence against or directly attack or threaten other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or disease. Users will not publish or post other people’s private and confidential information outside of the information they have made public, including location and name, without their express authorization and permission. Users will respect those who wish to remain anonymous and will not intimidate or force anonymous users to reveal their identities or identifying information. Photos or videos may not be posted without the subject’s consent. Acceptance* I agree to the Innovation for Change Code of Conduct. Security is our highest priority. This includes the security of our network, our members and the information within the platform. Any applicants to the Innovation For Change global and regional communities will be subject to a verification process in line with our community principles. In addition, all approved applicants must agree to the Community Code of Conduct before proceeding into the network. There are seven levels of membership within the Innovation For Change community for different types of users, each with increasing levels of access and collaboration opportunities. Members applying to our network will automatically be placed into level 1 while they are going through the verification process. All applicants will undergo a series of processes including: a high level verification, verification of partnership with a member already in the network, verification of alignment to the community principles and final approval by our moderators. Non-civil society users, including academia, media, and the private sector, will be placed in level 2 once they are approved and will be able to engage with the network on a limited basis. If a level 2 user would like higher access, they will be required to submit additional information and a review committee will be convened to review their application. Civil society users will be placed in level 3 when approved and will be able to apply for additional access after four months. Level 4 membership entails access to the membership database, job and volunteer opportunities, consultant roster and more. Users who apply to receive level 4 access will require review committee approval. Level 4 users may then apply to be community moderators when a position is open. An additional process will then be followed for those users who wish to become moderators including a user application and review committee approval. We also value those members who need to remain anonymous for security reasons. If you need to remain anonymous, you will be subject to a specialized verification process. A partner organization can submit your credentials on your behalf, facilitate questions and the overall process. Partner organizations must submit information as to why this user should be eligible for the specialized verification process. The partner organization must also sign an acknowledgement form that they know and approve this user for anonymous access to the platform. Administrators will approve all specialized verification process requests. If you have any questions about our verification process or the requirements, please contact our Support Team.Acceptance* I agree to the Innovation for Change Verification Process.
