Narrative summary
In order to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations in Morocco and the MENA region in effectively designing and implementing successful advocacy campaigns, I4C MENA and SimSim developed in February 2022 a policy advocacy toolkit and developed an interactive web application featuring the toolkit's content. The toolkit was developed in English and Arabic and was integrated in the Knowledge Souq home page.The toolkit covered different advocacy tactics and approaches for MENA CSOs to undertake effective policy change programs through providing resources, exercises, and case studies on advocacy planning, advocacy strategizing, building constituencies and coalitions as well as the monitoring and evaluation of advocacy programs.
