The objectives of the training were achieved through lectures and hands-on sessions with case studies, as well as peer-to-peer learning among participants. The participants identified gaps in their knowledge of emergency planning and response. Overall, the training was very successful according to the collected feedback from participants. The participants were able to apply what they learned during the days of training to their daily work and learned new skills that will help them better manage risks in the future. They learned how to prepare for different types of crises, how to manage risk assessments, and how to communicate with each other during a crisis.
