Narrative summary

Following the successes of the advocacy action that the MENA Hub, SimSim, and local crowdfunding practitioners initiated for the amendment of the first crowdfunding bill in Morocco in 2020, the demand remains high to demystify crowdfunding platforms and legislation among civil society groups in Morocco. For this purpose and under this activity, the MENA Hub and SimSim developed in February 2022 an online guide dedicated to demystifying crowdfunding in Morocco.
