Throughout all workshops, participants were able to learn new and improve skills in hands-on practical workshops, were skills were taught through direct exercises and practical experience. The participants thus exchanged experiences with each other and the expert trainers in open, interactive workshop sessions.

Provided a vital opportunity for the public and civil society organizations to develop knowledge about changing policies that may impact their freedom of expression and operations, particular attention will be placed on women and youth. Additionally, the sessions trained individuals and organizations on digital security tools that they can utilize to protect themselves from identity fraud, extortion and other digital security issues. It also educated them about their rights and help them identify when their rights are being violated by individuals, governments or social media companies.
